Another Protecting-Angels-and-Bad-Fallen novel!  But its still refreshing to read these genres.

Azaleigh, called as Az (liked her name!), lost her mother when she was still young.  She works as a waitress in one of the local restaurants, where two persons, who care about her, work - Tannah and Jen.  Her life is as normal and regular, as it could be.  But, finally she meets Kale, the hot guy at the bar, and after some meetings fall for each other.  Although Kale loves her, he stops any advances that Az makes towards him.  One day, she was attached by someone, and Kale tries to save her and in the attempt, reveals himself as an angel (revealing his wings and all, you know, the regular stuff!).  Many revelations were made and if I continue, I am going to spill out some spoiler.

This novel was more of a fast-paced, engaging story, which is usually what most of us prefer.  This is the debut novel by the authors and it was surprising they brought out their thoughts so well.  The concept of the fallen angels is more of a trend now, and still nothing was dull or boring in this one.

There is a love triangle here, and both are hot, caring guys.  Actually, the authors had brought out the evil side of angels better than the good ones.  I hope they mentioned more about the angel world.  Being the first in the series, world building is so important and this one lacks a bit on that one.  But, the second half of the book was way better than the first.

There are some minor faults though.  It was pretty confusing during the first half of the novel.  Even after when we know the truth, not everything just fits in.  Kale was mysterious and confusing.  When Az was told about the truth of angels and how she was involved in this, she just accepts it easily, which was not so believable for a simple girl.

Considering the fact that this is a debut and this is the first in the series, I believe that the authors will improve much more on their upcoming novels.  And there is more good things, than bad ones, which leads this to - well, 3.5 stars.

Recommended for angel lovers!
